A good first step in being a member of this church is to attend worship services regularly. Here you will become acquainted with other believers in the saving grace of Jesus. If you would like to join, there is a place to mark your interest on the friendship pad that is passed down the pew during the church service.
Next, talk with the pastor about your interest in becoming a member. [If you have a letter of transfer (or recommendation) from your previous church home, please have that available.]
The pastor will be happy to lead you through the brief new-comers program that has been established. It consists of several discussion periods where you will learn what to expect in your participation. The discussion periods are usually 2 - 4 sessions depending on prior religious experience. You will also learn about the opportunities BLC offers you.
The next new member class is scheduled for Sunday, September 7 from 10:22am - 12:22pm. New members from that class will be received at worship on September 28, 2008.
