For as long as I can remember, I have enjoyed playing the piano. As a young child I would watch my Mom practicing beautiful piano music. Gradually, she taught me to read the music and play by ear in any key. When I look down as I'm playing the piano, I see my Mom's hands.

My husband, Cory, works at Thermo Fisher in Madison. I teach third graders in Mt. Horeb. We have two daughters. Kristin is a high school history teacher living in Muscatine, Iowa. Katie attends Northwester College in Orange City, Iowa. Our family's favorite time each year is attending Okoboji Lutheran Bible Camp with our niece, nephew, and godson. It is a blessing to worship at Barneveld Lutheran Church.
